Mason Michael turns 2!!!

Sweet little Mason is no longer a baby (although he will always be my baby). Little man turned 2 years old today! We didn't do anything elaborate since we will have his birthday party next week but we celebrated with birthday pancakes for breakfast, and brownies after dinner. We tried to get him to blow out his birthday candle but he pretty much flipped out and didn't want anything to do with it or the dessert which is very unlike him. Other than that he watched his favorite movie, Toy Story, played with his new toys and just chilled out for most of the day.

Mason, we just love you so very much! You bring us so much joy every single day! Happy Birthday!Cutest little boy ever!!

Our Christmas Eve

Wow, what a fabulous day we had today! We received tickets to the Cowboy game for all 5 of us from a friend of ours. While I was excited to see my first pro football game, taking Mason to any kind of sporting activity did not sound like fun since he doesn't sit still....ever. That little boy constantly surprises me. He was absolutely amazing during the game. He sat there and made friends with everyone around us and by the 2nd quarter, the little boy who doesn't fall asleep anywhere but his bed was asleep in my arms. It was crazy, who was this child!?!? He took a nice nap while the rest of us enjoyed watching the game. Oh did I mention that we all got to ride in a Limo to the game?? It was awesome!! What a great way to spend Christmas Eve!

When we got home, it was time for our tradition of making a gingerbread village. We had so much fun making one last year that we knew we had to do it again. Here are many, many pictures of our afternoon/evening.Reese being all cute and not wanting her picture taken.Robert and ReeseWe had amazing seats. A few rows up from the end zone! Ryan putting chocolate icing on his Whopper house. Almost complete.

Christmas Parties

On Tuesday the girls had their Christmas parties at school. Kaylie's class is getting into the ages where they really don't have a "party" but they did have some snacks and decorated a tree. Reese's class however, went all out. They decorated cookies, cupcakes, did a coupe of crafts crafts, and had a book exchange. We all had a great time!

Christmas with Cousins!

Emily and the kids came over last weekend for our Christmas with them. We were able to spend a couple hours playing and opening gifts. Kaylie got a mini America girl doll. Reese got a new Barbie and books that she has been asking for. And little Mason got the best stuff....a big Buzz Lightyear doll, Toy Story plate, and Buzz pj's! He was not satisfied with just holding the pj's up to him. Nope, we had to put them on him and he wore them all day. Thanks again Emily and we missed you Matt! I adore this picture! My husband is a dork.Eden and her new guitar that Emily will probably hate me for very soon. It is soooo loud! Ryan with his trash bags! There was actually a gift card in there :)He loves being Buzz Lightyear. He actually tried to push the buttons on his PJ's thinking that the shirt would say something. He is so cute!
