Heather's B-day!

Kelly, Heather, Ryan and I celebrated Heather's 34th birthday in style this year. Kelly arrived and surprised Heather with a chauffeured car to take us to our destination. Our first stop was Scotch and Sirloin which was as delicious as I remember! Once we were all stuffed to the max we headed out for some dancing and some "Big Fat Fun". Yes, that was the name of the band playing at the club we went to. I have to admit that going to clubs was never my thing but Saturday night was a lot of fun. Heather got me to break out of my shell a little bit and I actually got out on the dance floor for a couple of songs. Most of the time we just talked, laughed and had a really good time. Happy Birthday Heather! Lots of pictures in this one.

Saturday afternoon at Gma's house.

Late Saturday afternoon we headed over to Gma's house to visit her and Grammy Deane. Emily and the kids joined us as well. We watched the K-State/OU game but when that became too painful to watch, we headed outside. I didn't get any pictures of Gma or Grammy so that stinks but I will just remember to take more next time.

Jumping, balloons, and a slide with Cousins!

Saturday morning was spent with Emily, Eden and Ike. Reese, Eden and Mason had a blast playing with balloons, jumping on the bed and playing outside. Lots of pictures here! This picture cracks me up. Yes Eden, he is pretty heavy!

Our Weekend in Kansas

This weekend we headed up to Kansas to spend a few days and see the birthday girls in the family. Grandma Deane's birthday party was last weekend and we weren't able to attend but at least we were able to spend a little bit of time with her on Saturday. My sister's birthday was on Friday and we celebrated like we were in our 20's. More on that in another post. The whole 2 1/2 days went by in a blur but we had a good time. Not the best pics from the phone but here are some from Heather's first birthday dinner at Red Lobster. Paige baked Heather a cake and put all 34 candles on it. That's why it looks like it is on fire :).

Pumpkin Patch and Decorating

Kaylie's 3rd grade class has a pumpkin decorating contest this week and of course I had to wait until the last minute to get all of the supplies. Each child decorates their pumpkin, no carving allowed, and then all the kids in the school vote. Kaylie's probably won't win but we had so much fun doing it and she really worked hard on it! Reese wanted to get into the fun as well so she picked out her paint and went to town. I think they turned out really cute.

First stop was the pumpkin patch for a pumpkin and a few minutes in the maze. Mason just wanted to climb on it.

Red Ribbon Week

Today is day 3 of Red Ribbon Week at school. Day 3 is wear your favorite team shirt or jersey. Can you guess what team my girls are representing???
